Interlude

I’m writing this from the passenger seat of a large campervan winding its way through very snowy mountains.

The tour is behind us, as are the friends we’ve made.

This is just a brief interval in the story to take stock before I catch up on writing.

This last week has been very action-packed, so prepare for stories of jumping off bridges, seeing Kiwis, and off-roading round one of the most dangerous roads in the world.

It’s been a time for being present with the people around me rather than whiling away at this. But, now I find myself with a lot more time and a lot less voices that I’ve been happy to hear every day.

Time to start the journey back to summer.
